Oliver Wins IRC5 at Cowes Week on Scherzo of Cowes

Cowes Week 2025 delivered another thrilling contest in IRC5, a fleet made up largely of Sigma 33s, with a couple of Mustang 30s and Peter & Alison Morton’s beautifully prepared Nautor Swan 36, Scherzo of Cowes.

The class battle came right down to the wire. Going into the final day, Scherzo of Cowes was locked on equal points with the Mustang 30 Banter, setting up a dramatic showdown for the overall win.

When it mattered most, the crew on Scherzo of Cowes rose to the occasion. Delivering a perfectly executed final race, they crossed the line first, sealing victory and claiming the top spot in IRC5 overall.
